SUMMIT RAINFOREST RETREAT
The Summit Rainforest Retreat is located on the Cairns Highlands, also known as the Atherton Tablelands, in Far North Queensland, Australia. The retreat is situated on the lip of an extinct volcano and commands the highest point in Atherton.
Peace and tranquillity is assured on over 2 hectares of land, the retreat boasts panoramic 180 degree views towards the west and a rainforest wonderland at the rear.

The Summit is a luxury 4 bedroom retreat, which can sleep up to 12 persons. Ideal for couples, families, groups, multiple couples, weddings, conferences etc.

The natural surroundings of Jabiru Safari Lodge provide a chance to see much of Australia's tropical savanna and wetland wildlife in its natural habitat. Wake up to a dawn chorus alive with the sounds of the Blue-winged Kookaburra and Brolga and listen to the call of the Southern Boobook while stargazing under the southern sky.

Each tent is comfortably furnished and has private en-suite facilities, queen beds and insect screens. Natural materials such as timber floors compliment the warm tones of the safari furniture. The safari tents are spacious and light. Each one has a private timber verandah with comfortable chairs and a table, perfect for birdwatching, reading or enjoying a glass of champagne as the sun sets over Clancy's Lagoon.

The Dimbulah Caravan Park is situated on the outskirts of Dimbulah on the road to Chillagoe. The caravan Park is in an idyllic setting with plenty of large trees for shade and lush green grass. There are 21 powered sites, which are well spaced out to provide privacy and a large camping area. The park also has 2 cabins, which each accommodates five, for traveling tourists with no caravans. The amenities block is in the middle of the park, with 3 showers in the Men's and 2 showers and a bathtub in the Ladies'. The park provides a camp kitchen and a gas barbeque. The swimming pool (open from September to April) is located next door.

Emu Creek Station is a working cattle station on the Wheelbarrow Way, 2 ~ hours drive west of Cairns. From the turnoff to the station is a further 7km.
