The Lonely Planet describes Chillagoe Cabins as the best accommodation in Chillagoe and they comprise 3 self-contained, two-person,
cottages two have queen beds and one has two singles and is suitable for persons with mobility difficulties.
The cottages are delightful and carry the theme of an early Australian, 19th century miner's hut.

Private bush camping sites are located along Eureka Creek taking in spectacular views of the gorge from most sites.
The camp sites are all located close to the Heritage Listed Boonmoo-Stannary Hills Tramway built in the early 1900's to service the large tin mining area.
Remnants of this era are still visible along the tramway; all located on our fully functional Brahman cattle grazing property.
The homestead is situated approx 15klms south west of Dimbulah (incl. 2klms of gravel road). The camp sites start approx. 5klms; and are up to 20klms from the homestead.
The 'Savannhlander' Tourist Train can deliver campers to our front door at 'Boonmoo' each Wednesday and return to Cairns each Saturday.

The Dimbulah Caravan Park is situated on the outskirts of Dimbulah
on the road to Chillagoe. The caravan Park is in an idyllic setting
with plenty of large trees for shade and lush green grass. There
are 21 powered sites, which are well spaced out to provide privacy
and a large camping area. The park also has 2 cabins, which each
accommodates five, for traveling tourists with no caravans. The
amenities block is in the middle of the park, with 3 showers in
the Men's and 2 showers and a bathtub in the Ladies'. The park provides
a camp kitchen and a gas barbeque. The swimming pool (open from
September to April) is located next door.
